As the winter season is kicking off, many events are already taking place in ski resorts and many more will be held over the all season. There are plenty of winter events organised for you to see and participate in all over the Alps, from festivals to races and major sports contests.

• VAL THORENS 13th Ski and Boarderweek - 12th to 19th December - European Festival gathering several pro-riders coming to ski,  snowboard, skicross and jump'air contests. Demos, free board tests, live music and many more things for you to see and do.
• TIGNES Fire Mix party with Laurent Wolf - on the 31st - Giant outdoor electro party with famous DJ Laurent Wolf to celebrate New Year's Eve

• SAALBACH HINTERGLEMM Roxy Chicken Jam - 8th to 10th - The world’s biggest girls-only snowboard event.
• LAAX Burton European Open - 9th to 16th - For the second event of the Burton Global Open Series 09/10, more than 400 riders from across the world will gather in Laax for Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions.
• VAL THORENS Gastronomy Week - 16th to 23rd - Culinary celebration with many activities including tasting sessions with local restaurateurs and food producers for food lovers and so at such a high altitude.
• TIGNES Snow Quad Challenge - 24th to 26th - Quad rally and a competition in the heart of the resort with demos and rides for the general public in search of adventure! 
• CHAMONIX Freeride World Tour 2010 - on the 30th - This is the only stop in France for the Freeride World Tour which will begin in the United States. This contest gathers world-class skiers and snowboarders in ski areas from all over the world.
  

February 2010

• LES ARCS The Speed Flying Pro - 1st to 5th - Fourth edition of the Speed Flying Pro. This sport is practised at skis with a parachute and offer a spectacular show of tricks and curves between sky and summits.
• MUNICH ISPO - 7th to 10th - International trade fair for sporting goods and sports fashion in Munich with a focus on ski, outdoor and board sports.

March 2010

• TIGNES Full Moon Freeride - on the 1st - Ski Freeride by night with some of the best freeriders in the world.
• TIGNES Winter X Games Europe - 10th to 12th - The Winter X Games come for the first time in Europe and is a key event in freestyle ski and snowboard which will gather the best riders  from all around the world to compete against each other on Tignes Val Claret snow front. The Winter X Games Europe will host 8 events within which Super Pipe in Ski and Snowboard and Slopestyle Ski and Snowboard.
• VERBIER Freeride World Tour 2010 - on the 20th - Last stop of the Freeride World Tour 2010 will be in Verbier for a last day of freeride competition between world-class skiers ans snowboarders.
• AVORIAZ Jazz Up - 20th to 26th -  Great jazz festival with an exciting line-up for this 3rd edition: Charlier, Sourisse, Winsberg Quartet, André Manoukian Quartet & China Moses Quintet.
• LAAX The Brits - 21st to 28th - Longest established music and snow festival that have been taking place in the Alps. To help you enjoy the event as much as possible, we organise your transfers and run the BRITS Shuttle during the event making it easier for you to get there and around.
• VAL THORENS The North Face Ski Challenge presented by Gore-Tex - 26th to 28th March - Event dedicated to helping young freeskiers become pro riders. The event is made of both big-mountain freeride and a slopestyle contests.

• VAL THORENS 3 Vallees X-Wing Rally - on the 5th - Rally mixing ski, snowboard & telemark pros and amateurs within a team of 3 to discover together the beautiful ski area of the 3 Vallees.
• TIGNES TignesFest - 15th to 18th - Dynamic alpine music event in Tignes mixing live bands, acoustic sets, DJ's with skiing, snowboarding and socialising  to create a unique winter event.
